Finger-Crossing Good Luck

Bird watchers call it the Pica Pica, Flute Bird, or black-billed Magpie. You may end up calling it your new lucky polo. With its James Bond tuxedo plumage and swaggering attitude, the Magpie gets our vote for the ultimate in cool birds. In Chinese culture, Magpies are a clear sign of good luck to come. And who couldn't use a little luck in their golf game? And, yes, if you don't want your golf card to look like your bowling card, you need to go to the driving range, perfect the swing, and work on the short game. 

That said, it's time to dial down the ten-thousands hours of work crap, throw a little salt over our shoulders, and remember that we also need a little finger-crossing luck. May this polo be a soft and comfortable reminder not to take yourself too seriously.
